Adam Decker
Adam founded TrueBlaze Advisors in 2015. Having worked with hundreds of business owners since 1995 and owning and operating businesses of his own since 2001, he appreciates the challenges business owners face and enjoys partnering with them to problem solve and reach their goals.
Adam comes from a typical Indiana small town called Holton — 300 people, a grocery the size of a convenience store, a bank branch, a feed mill and little else. He studied accounting and business at Franklin College, still one of his favorite places perhaps because it happens to be where he met his wife, Kendra. They have two sons, one in college and one in high school.
Adam loves cycling, biking, and camping – and better yet “bikepacking” when you can accomplish all three. When he’s not at work or somewhere outside, you’ll likely find Adam watching the Colts, Reds, Pacers, or picking his next Fantasy Football line-up. Vacation destinations usually involve a National Park, and favorites include Yellowstone, Yosemite, and Acadia. He also spends lots of time at his church, serving the school board, leading a small group and being in worship and community with his church family.
What Adam enjoys most about work is partnering with each individual by helping them find their path for success and the confidence to manage their business. He especially appreciates applying his areas of expertise, including coaching owners through unique situations, tax planning for the small business owner, interpreting numbers in real world language and dental practice planning and transactions.
