Lauren Schaney joined Trueblaze in February 2024 as our Client Service Manager -- think of her as your liaison with the team as she will be your go to for most requests and support. She is here to serve to help gather documents and fulfill requests to keep you and your financial picture progressing. She humbly calls herself a "task master,” which will undoubtedly prove to be a great asset to you and our team.
Lauren is no stranger to the ins and outs of tax preparation and small business planning, having worked with Adam for several years previously and feels like it is a "full circle moment" working with him again. Her lengthy experience as an Executive Assistant will also bring great value to the growing Trueblaze team.
While she now resides in Fort Myers, Florida, Lauren grew up in Rushville, Indiana, on a farm where her family still lives. She graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Public Relations noting that a highlight from college was her experience studying abroad in Spain, and traveling throughout Spain, France and Italy. Lauren and her husband recently made the move to Florida after several years of vacationing there and are now thrilled to enjoy the sunshine and warmer climate, taking any chance they get to play volleyball together.
Lauren is very into health and wellness and runs an accountability group to support other women in making healthier lifestyle choices. While she still allows the occasional taco and margarita, making healthier choices with the foods she loves has been key – she and her husband enjoy making their own healthier ice cream from home with their Ninja Creami ice cream maker.
Lauren very much looks forward to the relationships she can help develop and impact she can make by supporting small business owners.
